[NTLUG:Discuss] computer based audio piano for a usb MIDI/music keyboard

Does anyone have any experience in using an USB piano keyboard (like a
M-Audio KeyStudio 49 - or any other USB connected keyboard/controller that
doesn't have sounds built in) connected to their machine for use as a normal
musical piano?

I've got about every MIDI sequencer program installed....and trying to get
JACK to work (with no luck)....does anyone have any suggestions just to get
some audio/piano sounds working?
