I'm back (btw).

Well, the cancellation of the APCUG conference isn't terribly surprising, but I
did put together a presentation.  Mind you, the time slot only allows for 45
minutes, which is a LOT less than an NTLUG presentation.  So, my presentation
was a glossy style managerial type presentation.

What's interesting is that it was kind of fun putting it together.  It uses OOo
impress, but it contains animations and video... features that maybe you haven't
used much in your presentations (these kinds of things used to be "no no's", but
now that everyone is browsing the web and texting all the time, you have to do
more than just slides with text to capture attention... if all you do is speak,
you'll find a lot of people with their heads down... sad but true... can we get
all handheld devices banned??).

So... I'm thinking that might be the next NTLUG presentation.
