The newer KDE 4 interface looks like Vista/Windows 7 too much, she's 
more comfortable with the windows 95/98/XP of the KDE 3 series. I'm not 
very fond of the KDE4 either, flash and splash at the cost of too many 
other things that are actually more important.   It took me a  couple of 
hours to find how to get rid of the menu crap and revert it to the older 
style I prefer. Not everyone likes "change" and too many ignore this.
