OK ... apples and oranges ... sorry, but I did say I needed to open *.ps
files, not *.pdf files. Specifically my difficulty is in opening *.ps
files created by printing to file from Adobe Acrobat Reader v.9.
I can open *.pdf files all day long in okular, or Acrobat Reader for
that matter.
The only reason I want to open *.ps files made by Acrobat is that
printing to a *.ps file is the only way I can save a completed copy of
the "fillable form" since saving is blocked for that particular form.
As it stands at this time, I can save a copy of the completed form by
printing it to file (*.ps), and I can "view" the completed form by
printing the *.ps file to paper (lpr -P printername filename.ps)
What would be nice would be the ability to see the completed form
without having to print it to paper ... for example to see if it is
really the one I am looking for.
Sorry for any confusion I may have contributed to.
Regards
Fred James
