[NTLUG:Discuss] Board of Directors nominations

Howdy,
  The Board of Directors of NTLUG has two members whose terms expire
next month.  We will hold elections at the April 16, 2011 meeting to
elect members to fill those Board of Directors positions.  We took
nominations at the March meeting and we will accept nominations until
the meeting in April.  You can nominate by sending that nomination to
this list.  Remember that email is not a 100 percent reliable mechanism.
If it is important to you that the nomination is recognized, be sure the
email got thorough to the list and that people see it.  You should ask
the person being nominated if they are prepared to serve and you can
nominate yourself.

 We were not sure whose terms were expiring when we held the meeting,but
we determined afterwards that the two people whose terms are ending are:
  Chris Cox
  Stuart Yarus

 The members nominated were:
  Chris Cox
  Rick Cook
  J. Jentink
  Robert Blythe

 At the meeting, we were under the wrong impression that J Jentink's
term was up, but it was really Stuart Yarus.  So, J Jentink is not
qualified to run for a 3 year term, because he is already on the Board.
I think Stuart Yarus has served the organization well and I hereby
nominate him to serve a new term on the Board.  So, we still have 4
names on the nomination list and we will need to elect 2 of those
nominated.
