Howdy,
This event was a good one last year. It is coming up next week, and I
want to make sure our members know about it. So, I am forwarding an
announcement. If you have questions, ask on the ntlug irc channel, or
back to this list. Several NTLUG members were there last year and I
expect this year to be bigger and better.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to send you all a reminder that you have one week left to
register for Texas Linux Fest 2011. You can do so here:
https://register.texaslinuxfest.org/ but don't forget to take a tour
through the full talk schedule here:
http://texaslinuxfest.org/program/session-schedule first.
Once again, we are offering two ticket options. The "enthusiast" ticket
is $15, and is a low-cost way to enjoy the entire show: full access to
every talk, the expo floor, the Friday training sessions put on by some
of our sponsors, and all evening events. The "supporter" ticket for $40
is a way you can help out the show by contributing a bit more towards
the cost of renting the venue and equipment. In exchange for that
generous donation, you also get the limited-edition TXLF 2011 t-shirt
and goodie bag. It's a win-win-win.
Check in opens early on Saturday, April 2nd at the Hilton Austin.
Directions and map are available on the web site. The day kicks off
with Ken Starks' keynote address at 9:30 AM sharp, covering his work
with the HeliOS Project; the regular sessions pick up immediately after
that and the expo is open all day. The last talks will end right around
5:45. We've got a great selection of speakers this year from every
corner and angle of he Linux and open source world. Don't miss it!
Thanks,
Nate
