[NTLUG:Discuss] Web site help needed

Jay - let me back up a bit. The web server has 5 domains on it already, 
all are fairly minimal in nature and none are ecommerce sites. What 
happened was one of the sites was rewritten to bring it up to date
and integrate oscommerce into it  To that end the server needed
the addition of php5 and mysql, both of which were installed with
no problems (opensuse 11.2 system, etc). I'm not sure what you
were thinking when you mentioned not having to compile anything.
I didn't have to compile diddly squat, yast just downloaded and
installed the binaries.

What is the problem is that I assume that those parts need to be 
configured and I am looking for a shortcut to the time it takes
to learn about that on my own, mainly due to my limited time.
That is what led to the appeal for help.

I looked at Xampp and it looks like a really great product for a new
installation but that is not the case here, as mentioned above.
