It has been a long time since we have had a fair to demonstrate the
great things that one can do when using Linux. So lets do it again.

As you may have noticed in the recent past postings, at our last meeting
we decided to proceed with the setup of a Linux Fair this coming
October, upon approval and assistance of the NTPCUG.

Although this is an event that in the past has focused exclusively on
Linux, because we are now associated with the NTPCUG, we expect to also
be sharing space and exhibits with MS Windows users.

So now the big question -- what do you want to display at the Linux Fair?

I will be coordinating the event on the part of NTLUG and coordinating
with NTPCUG for support and other displays that other members may wish
to do.

We are hoping to set up in the large hall at the other end of the LoG
church, which will have much more room than what we have had in the
past. This will provide everyone with plenty of space to have everyone
walk around see what is going on. To provide a demonstration, one will
need to provide one's own equipment and power requirements. We will
coordinate the table setup and power delivery. Internet access is under
discussion and we hope to have it, but there may be issues.

I will maintain a list of participants on the part of Linux and will
coordinate with the NTPCUG. If you have questions, please send me an email.

This is just the start. We look forward to having a great event and lots
of fun.
