This note made me think about one point. Dennis, I hope you are
reading and will contribute here, along with all members of NTLUG.
Dennis is coordinating the Fair. I am just asking for comments so we
can get it done right.
We are inviting participation from all of NTPCUG. So, we expect there
will be some Windows users there. But, is it reasonable to focus on
some topic like open source or free software? That exists in both the
Windows world and the Linux world. It seems like that focus could help
define the Fair a bit. And, only the most die-hard Windows user would
be put off by it. What do you think? What should the focus of the Fair
be?
I don't plan to comment on the pluses and minuses of any particular
name for a bit. In brainstorming, I understand it is best to get a list
of ideas first, and then you talk about them. I am gathering a list for
now.
