Actually, as far as names go, Opensource Linux fair is VERY commonly used nationally if not internationally. I work at HP and belong to the opensource linux group internally. HP sponsors many linux fairs globally for groups like our own. I am in the process of contacting the HP group to see about potential support. This is obviously in conjunction with Dennis.
One thing is that we have an announce list which will hit over 5000 HP employee Linux users globally. As I work with our group organizers and the HP folks we can probably get some sort of advice/experience which will help.
One note about the HP group. MS "haters" are quickly hushed. The HP group is more zen like and welcomes any and all. Most of us gave in to being agnostic so that we cam use Linux as a COE (approved Corp OS). I will recruit a few HP folks to help.
