How about "Freeware & Shareware Demofest"?

For the Freeware part of it we could not only demo Linux, but wine. We should also be able to demo a couple of distros fir older systems and show how Linux gives new life to "obsolete" hardware. For those who run Windows, have Portable Apps loaded on a flash drive and demo them on the Windows side of the fest.

Whatever we do, we should have some live CDs and DVDs (and maybe flash drives) available to sell (at cost) or give away.

Just my $0.02 worth...

Howdy,
I have seen some people agree that we need a new name, but nobody has
floated any names. We need to pick one so we can advertise this.
Nobody I have seen has said we need to keep the name Linux Fair. I like
that name, but it would be confusing to the Windows users participating.
So, what do we call it?

  1. Fair
  2. Demorama
  3. Open Kimono Day

 Please suggest others.
Ralph
