I'm not familiar with the Cyclades TS2000. I have been
operating Portmasters for 15+ years as console servers though.

- I have no experience with terminal servers. Can there be concurrent
- network logins from the same user to the terminal server for
- connectivity to the comm ports? My goal is to have a virtual desktop
- (window) on my linux box for each cisco box. (I currently have 10 cisco
- items.)

Using the Portmasters, it is possible to log into the terminal
server multiple times, and then attach to different ports.

Or, as I do, configure each serial port to appear as a TCP port
on the terminal server, and to connect to that.

However, there can only be one connection to any given serial
port.

To get around that, I use a package called conserver, which is
designed for shared console access and logging. (kinda like the
screen solution someone else mentioned but designed from the
ground up as a solution.)

I've got a spare Portmaster 2e30 (I think) sitting in the
garage, if it would be of interest.
