What went wrong Ralph?
RedHat doesn't own Fedora (they can exert a lot of pressure, but they
don't run Fedora).
I upgraded 3 different machines from Fedora 14 to Fedora 15. I even
upgraded each one _while_I_was_actively_using_it_in_X_, while the live
upgrade is officially unsupported, they make sure that it works.
I also recently, remotely, upgraded a friend of mine's machine from
Fedora 10 to 11, then to 12, then to 13, then to 14, all while he used
it as his only home machine. Upon reboot after the final upgrade
finishied, everything worked fine. Since the Gnome 3 boys decided you
had to have a high end 3d card for a useful desktop experience, I didn't
upgrade his poor tired old machine to F15.
