The Dallas Makerspace did one last year, which was bigger than the space
could hold (I was one of the presenters). Those in attendance might
remember the AC couldn't keep up either. :)

This year there is a plan to do it again in our NEW space. About three
times the climate controlled space as before and so far cooling hasn't
been an issue with full room(s).

Now there is a dedicated classroom for about 18+ people with a big
screen TV and a dedicated projector setup just waiting to be executed
on. Plus a BIG hallway/entry, separate lounge, kitchen, three other
dedicated use rooms, and of course the warehouse/shop floor.

Drum roll: Have an idea? Want to present? Have free time to volunteer
contacting media, etc?
Would love to have an official NTLUG (and a NTPCUG now that you mention
it) presence - say a table with CDs or laptops, etc. There is wall space
for hanging 3ft banners...

Might be a good opp to cross-promote the Software EXPO (ie: Linux fair?).
