At TCVC, the Texas Center for the Visually Challenged,
www.computersfortheblind.net <http://www.computersfortheblind.net/> , we
refurbish donated computers for the blind. We are planning to do a demo of
NVDA, the free screen reader for Windows, at the October Software Fair.
We would also like to demo a Linux system with similar capabilities. Here's
the problem:
We've never had the Linux expertise to build such a system.
We're looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to help. Preferably someone with a
friend or family member who is blind, or at least some experience with
screen readers.
Any volunteers? Call or email me.
