This may be over your needs, and I run Mandriva 2008.0 (out of date?  
sorry), but I have had good success with an HP Officejet 7310 All-In-One.
    Scan
    Fax
    Copy
    Print
Has some camera card readers slots, as well ... and it (depending on the 
ink cartridges you put in it) is color and balck+white.

I use HP device Manager Software which came with the distro.
