   Our Ft. Worth based Client is seeking a Linux Administrator who enjoys

The primary responsibilities include monitoring server health, solving
server and user issues, and configuring and maintaining servers across the
enterprise. The candidate must have strong communication skills and enjoy
working with people.

Responsibilities include:
Support branch office user requests
Review network and server health
Setup and configure servers for the office and branches
Troubleshoot and resolve Linux issues
Installation of Linux with Kickstart
Setup and configure servers, workstations, and printers
Write shell scripts to automate processes
Requirements:
Three to five years of Linux Red Hat and/or CentOS Server configuration and
administration
o Strong ability to work with the shell language for administration as
oppose to x-windows.
o RHCE or RHCT Certification a plus
Understand network switching, IP routing, and VLANs.
Write Borne Shell Scripts to automate processes.
o Ability to find files and data using string manipulation.
o Know how to manipulate text files using vi editor.
Ability to setup CRON jobs to automate script processing
Ability to setup and configure CUPS for network printing, setup printer
devices, and manage print jobs.
Setup and configure DHCP services and IP configuration
Ability to setup Linux trusts between servers.
Manage user accounts.
o Add, modify, and delete users.
o Add, modify, and change user groups
o Manage and change user or group permissions
Troubleshoot email issues
o Understand MX and DNS records and how they apply to eMail
o Understand IMAP, SMTP, and POP mail protocols
o Ability to review mail logs to determine problem and resolution
Manage and maintain MYSQL databases. Basic knowledge of the SQL language
will be helpful.
Setup and configure rsync between servers
Setup and configure VPN users using PPTP and CHAP
