Dennis,
 I changed the netmask in the config file for dhcpd.  There was no
broadcast address configuration in the file.  Since I am not changing
the IP address range that the DHCP server can issue, the one change
was all I made in this file.  I restarted the dhcp server and
everything seems to be working fine so far.
