  Of course there is a way.  You might have to program it.  But, 2
other ideas are:
 1. Look for or write a Dolphin plugin suited to your search.
 2. http://askubuntu.com/questions/228111/how-can-i-search-for-a-file-by-date-in-kubuntu
  has a question that seems related to me.  You could adapt that
technique with a small effort.  The downside is that it requires a
separate step to search the odt files.   It should be fairly simple,
though.
