[NTLUG:Discuss] Flash & Mint15

Greetings.

I have just set up a system with Mint 15, MATE Desktop.  System is
absolutely refusing to load Flash for playing YouTube & Hulu, required
by Spouse.  Did some digging, and found the Adobe installer -- which
doesn't seem to be interested in actually shipping anything other than
RPMs.  And Mint Software installer only seems to have a somewhat older
version of Flash, which neither Firefox or Chrome seem to be interested
in loading/running.

So, question:
How do I get YouTube and Hulu operational?
