Also consider using openDNS for DNS based site filtering. It is free and
you get a control panel to exclude categories of websites (gambling, adult,
etc.).
After you create an openDNS account they give you the DNS resolver IPs, you
setup a dynamic DNS client (often in the router!) and since they know it is
your IP the request is coming from they apply the appropriate filters to
all results.
Cheap and effective!
