Howdy,
I am a member of DMS and NTLUG. The discussions just started at DMS
about what kind of event to have. I expect there will be something
there, but I'll know more in a week or so. NTLUG just started meeting
at Dallas Makerspace. The confluence with SFD was not explicitly
planned, but the fact that DMS wanted to host NTLUG and has done
several SFD events are related to the interest in open source at DMS.
DMS uses way too much of the weird proprietary OSes like the one from
Seattle for my tastes. But, there is a lot of open source there, too.
Have a good day,
Ralph
