Any reason you can't install Fedora 20 fresh?  In my opinion, Fedora
became a lot more stable a few months after 18 and really solid in 19.
RHEL 7 is based on Fedora 19 and 20 so why not get on the latest
versions of software.  Fedora 21 is right around the corner too.

I usually install my Fedora with /home in it's own volume then I can
just install fresh each new version keeping /home intact so all my
settings and files are kept.  Not to difficult.
