When a user enters a url beginning with https at the browser, network wise, the url parts are ssl encrypted.  Just saying.   You'd have to insert something at the client or something evil in between.  Now I have restricted ssl and forced users to go unencrypted...  Up to you...

Maybe I am being overly simplistic but cannot the firewall be
configured to restrict all youtube addr EXCEPT those expressly
allowed, like the company videos? Or is that what the kid filter
does?
