OK, Last time I was looking for a unix security engineer (for my employer,
very large bank corp.) and we found and hired a member of the Dallas Unix
User Group. He is working out as I hear, and so they have asked me to see
if there is anyone I know... I am all about finding jobs for my friends
when I can.

The job is initially to basically to build out an Enterprise Scale instance
of Splunk.  So you have to know logs, regex, some posix-able scripting
language will be a big help.  You will have Splunk the company on speed
dial for help, and some resources in North America and Europe to parallel
work to.

This is not an entry level position, Full Time with good benefits in Irving
(LBJ/MacArthur).  You will be expected to directly leverage your work
experience early on.  Pull together basic design and user documentation for
how our instance of Splunk works, for us.
