It's not the printer (a BJ-200e) that's the issue , which works well on MS.
The printer is a Parallel Port machine, not usb so nothing for lsusb to
probe.

True, it IS an older printer, but the thing is decent quality output and
very inexpensive to operate. It's an "Old reliable".

Oh, THAT driver is broken as well.  My apologies, I don't have the error
log handy.  I was concentrating on one issue at a time.  Let me know if
you want me to and I will regenerate the Kernel logs from that type of
Adapter so you can see the errors that it has.

Would these use the same Driver?
