[NTLUG:Discuss] Is this the right group?

The account is an ancient one. I started about 1984 at 2400 baud 
(blazing fast at the time) and $24.95 per hour. I pre-date the merging 
of CompuServe Information Services, UUCP, BitNet, FidoNet, ArpaNet and 
MilNet and some others merging to form the Internet.

Since I'm one of the original 3.5 million accounts acquired by AOL and 
REFUSED to join AOL, we got to keep our accounts. When AOL and CSI 
decided to kill off CompuServe completely, those of us with our original 
accounts got to keep the original accounts with 16G on the net free. We 
started most of it, so we got to keep it.
