[NTLUG:Discuss] DFWUUG meeting Thursday, March 3, 2016

Hi,

DFWUUG will have its usual monthly meeting at 7 pm this Thursday,
March 3rd, at the
IBM Innovation Center at 1177 South Beltline Road, Coppell, Texas.

The main presentation will be on AIDE, the Advanced Intrusion
Detection Environment.
AIDE is a file and directory integrity checker.  Leroy Tennison, a
long-time member of the
North Texas Linux Users Group will give the talk.


Also, DFWUUG officer elections happen at the
March meeting.  There are four positions: President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer.  They are occupied by David Wood, Jon
Disnard, Jon Jentink, and Stuart Yarus, respectively.

Our usual practice is that the Vice President moves into the
President's position, and the other spots are filled by voting at the
March meeting.  If you are interested in running for any of the
offices, please notify David Wood or any other officer.  Nominations
will conclude just before elections Thursday.


Financial reports for 2015 are available for reading/downloading
at <www.dfwuug.org/finances/>.  The short of it is that there was
a gain of $41.50 over 2014, with net cash assets of $1,602.05.


Pizza and sodas will be available at 6:45 pm.
