[NTLUG:Discuss] Online presence

Hi Ralph,

What I'm trying to get information about is basically how this particular
group functions.  I am trying to network with Linux groups in Dallas
better.  I am planning a move here in the next few months to a year so and
only looking for contact.  I'm part of a LoCo out in Arizona and I have
contacts from a California LUG and a small group in Washington.  The last
time I check the main website was a while so it has been updated since the
last time I was on there.  I just wanted to understand what ya'll do.  I
see interesting post some of the times but again it's been a while since
I've looked.

I was interested when there was a live event going on one Saturday that was
broadcasted live about system admins a year ago I think.  But I don't think
I've seen more online broadcast then that one.  So basically I was looking
for what ya'll do, like events, get together, how you talk with other
teams.  It would be nice to be able to go on IRC once in a while and talk
with someone.

I just want to push myself into more Linux work to be a better
contributor.   I volunteer at the LoCo where I'm at now, I go to meetings
for the LUG I'm a part of also.  And when I can relocate I would just like
to get to know people and the group so when I'm there I could really do
something to contribute like I do here in Arizona.

So I really don't have a particular question just trying to network with
more people and learn more about outsource, though Linux is where most of
my training is right now.
