[NTLUG:Discuss] msata drive to a sata controller

Howdy,
  First, I have not held a msata drive or used one.  So, this may be a
silly question.  I found somebody selling inexpensive msata drives.
Looking at pictures online, I see adapters that convert a msata drive
to fit into a sata drive slot.  It looks like it may just be
physically adapting the drive to fit in a case.  I want to use the
drive in a Raspberry Pi where I'll be building the case to hold the
drive and the Pi.  So, I don't care about things like the screw
positions.  I just want to use a USB to SATA adapter to connect the
drive to a Raspberry Pi.  Will it work?
