Title: An OpenCV on Android Project for Crash Risk Reduction

Abstract: John Lindsay was a finalist at the SAE Connected Vehicle
Challenge for developing a couple of prototypes that seek to decrease
vehicle collision risk.
1. One prototype uses a light sensor and receiver pair attached to each
vehicle
2. A second prototype uses the OpenCV SDK, along with a companion
Bluetooth connected component.

John will present development aspects of the prototypes including:
Light transmitter/sensor pair (first prototype)
OpenCV on Android (second prototype)
   Constraints in the mobile environment
   Benchmarks, algorithms, and trade-offs
   Sensor supplementation
Bluetooth device
   Connectivity
