The Embedded Linux group has an interesting talk for this Wednesday:
David Mandala is a Senior Linux Manager/Developer/Evangelist who
worked at Canonical during the growth years of ARM Linux (2007 -
2013), and he has the scars to prove it. David will tell the story of
how he led their efforts to make Ubuntu one of the most well-known
Linux ARM distributions in the world.
David is a results-driven leader with significant experience in Open
Source and Linux, including six startups, principal of two. David's
interest and focus is technical leadership and development.
Experienced in the use, creation and release of Open Source and Free
Software, guiding software engineering teams in tackling all kinds of
challenges. David is a “Jack of all Trades and Master at Some” and his
colleagues appreciate his ability to get it done.
We are fortunate to have David talk at our next meeting on May 8. Don't miss it!
The DFW Embedded Linux group is now a part of the North Texas Linux Users Group.
DFW Embedded Linux meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Improving
on the Legacy Drive in Plano. As you enter the complex at 5445 Legacy,
the building on the right has Improving's office.
