Are there any xorg gurus on list?

I just built a monster threadripper 3960x machine with geforce 1070ti 
GPU. I have 4 monitors attached
3 dell 24"s daisy chained via display-port and MST and a 40" vizio tv.

Is there a max number of "displays" you can have in a "screen" session? 
I have seen 4, but that was from a few years ago.

I tried to add a 5th monitor connected via displayport and it was 
recognized but then my vizio connected via HDMI started blinking out.
