Dear folks,

A relative who lives in the Dallas area asked me to help her get a laptop.
As I live in France, I am limited in my ability to act on the computer 
before the OS is installed, but would be glad to take over after that.
Would one of you be kind enough to install a Linux distribution on her 
computer?

The laptop would be a refurbished Thinkpad — either an x260 or an T450s, 
depending on her choice ; and as for the distro, since she's a complete 
beginner and I'm comfortable with Debian-based distributions, I was 
thinking of the soon-to-be-released Pop! OS 21.04.

Obviously she would be the one to come close to you ; she'd bring the 
laptop, a new SSD drive and a USB stick with the appropriate ISO image.
