So, are you saying that the system you're using (I assume it's a Linux distro) doesn't have Pulseaudio available?  It sounds like, if we used Jitsi or Big Blue Button, the actual meeting would be through that technology and not Zoom, correct?  I'm not a "Zoom promoter" but having everyone have to change clients sounds like a lot of effort.

I live in Orlando Florida. 

That being said, I have no Pulseaudio so I can't use Zoom anyway. Jitsi
and Big Blue Button are much more compatible with a wider range of
distros and setups.
