[NTLUG:Discuss] What is the deal with Brace and AOL?

 I discovered that its not just AOL, a bunch of web sites started having significant slow downs.  For now I'm switching to Firefox.  Any other recommendations for secure browsers?  Any experience with Vivaldi, LibreWolf, Mullvad, UnGoogled Chromium?  Others to consider?

 Trying to log in to AOL mail with Brave produces long waits (up to 1.5 minutes) at various prompts.  Switching to Firefox produces minimal delays, is AOL fighting with Brave's security measures?  Any other insights?
