professional experience as a Linux Systems Administrator and over 3<br>
years of professional experience in a LAMP environment. On top of the<br>

DESCRIPTION<br>
<br>
Administer multiple Debian Linux servers running in a high<br>
availability (Application Service Provider) environment.<br>
Administer MySQL in a high availability DB environment.<br>
Configure and install new machines. Experience with IBM xSeries hardware a plus.<br>
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of web and DB clusters.<br>
Support developer and system requirements for Perl/PHP and MySQL.<br>
Write and maintain scripts to automate daily tasks.<br>
Ability to travel to our co-location facilities (20 miles from our HQ)<br>
as required.<br>
Maintain corporate communications systems, including email and PBX systems.<br>
This position will be on call 24x7.<br>

QUALIFICATIONS<br>
<br>
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience administrating Linux (with<br>
the primary focus on Debian), Apache and MySQL<br>
Minimum 2+ years experience with Perl and PHP for scripting and<br>
application and module installation.<br>
Minimum 1+ year of experience with Linux tape backup processes,<br>
including familiarity with tar, mtx and mt.<br>
Ability to write and maintain automation scripts written in Perl, PHP and bash.<br>

Preferred<br>
<br>
Some experience with PBX systems highly desired.<br>
SAIR Linux or MySQL certification is a plus.<br>
GIAC or CISSP security certification is a plus.<br>
Minimum 3 years of industry experience required.<br>
Apache and MySQL clustering experience are highly desired.<br>
