NTLUGGERs,
The October meeting of NTLUG -- the 37th consecutive NTLUG meeting -- will
take place on Saturday, October 16th, at Nokia in Las Colinas. The main
meeting starts at 11 a.m. See http://ntlug.org/cal/ for details and
directions.
Presentation and Activities
---------------------------
The presentation on Saturday will feature the Vice President of NTLUG,
Chris Cox, who will be teaching you everything you've ever wanted to know
about Linux shells, in a presentation called "Stupid (NOT!) Shell Tricks".
We'll also be doing our regular Linux Installation Project, starting at
around 9.30 a.m.The Linux Newbies Hour, with Ray Foley, begins at 10 a.m.
As usual, Rick Cook will be selling CDs and sundries at the meeting.
There's even a rumor that NTLUG T-shirts will be available. Get yours now,
before they get changed to "NTLUG,Inc." :>
Chris Browne and I will have a report to make about the Atlanta Linux
Showcase for the November meeting; we're out here right now enjoying a
great time with part of the Linux community. Wish you were here!
Best,
Kendall Clark
