Mark Bickel had to cancel for this month... we'll be looking forward
to seeing his presentation possibly around the June time frame.

So.... how about a CDROM writing how-to? I got one of those
Plextor 12/10/32 CDRW devices. We'll cover how to configure the
device in the kernel (setting up generic SCSI access). Also,
tweaking the device for DMA and of course, ripping some music
(or some data) and writing a CD.

After the main meeting, please stay for a presentation on APL
on Linux by Andrew MacLeod. Bet you didn't know APL was
available for Linux! For those who don't know what APL is,
well let's just say it does more in one line than just about
any other programming language. Hey... how about breaking
the record for shortest DeCSS routine?? Not sure if that's
well suited for APL... but who knows.

9am - Linux Installation Project
10am - Beginners Group
11am - Main Presentation (ATAPI CDRW devices)
12noon - SPECIAL Presentation (APL)
See http://www.ntlug.org/cal for directions.

Regards,
Chris (unemployed..hint..hint)
