Dynamic DNS refers to making record changes inside of DNS
zones using an update protocol. Some of you may have used nsupdate to
make live DNS changes. Now with DHCP 3.0 and BIND (DNS), your
dynamic IP hosts can get a DNS entry without having to
craft some glueware. We'll look at a simple configuration
and see how Linux and Windows machines can
get a DNS entry even though their IP is dynamic.
