[NTLUG:Announce] Board nominations for NTLUG

Myself (Chris Cox), Rick Cook and Stuart Yarus ... these
three board positions have officially expired.  At the
next meeting we will be taking nominations for the
board (we often wait till the last minute to do this).

What does the board do?  In brief, they give direction
for the group, elect officers (members elect the board,
the board elects the officers), and ensure the paperwork
is getting done.  Term on the board is 3 years (they
are staggered with no more than 4 rolling off every
year).

So... if you want to nominate yourself, or want to
nominate somebody else, we'll want to do that during
the next meeting on 9/21 @ 11am.

We do have Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws... but
they certainly need work since technically we
do not have members unless you've submitted some info
to the board to become a member (sigh).  But the docs
to exist and can be found at:

If you have questions, feel free to ask... my term may
be expired on the Board, but I'm still the Prez, and
will gladly answer any question you may have.
