Title: Revolution Evolution: Migrating from Outlook
Presenter: David Simmons

Recently there has been a lot of discussion about
the viability of Linux on the desktop. For many, the
problem is moving away from Office. But, OpenOffice
has enabled many to move away from M$ Office successfully.
Next, people wonder how to move away from Outlook.
In fact, many people would love to move away from
Outlook.. just because of the various security issues.

Ximian's Evolution is one example of a powerful
groupware based client that attempts to be as full
featured as Outlook, yet very extensible at the same
time (better than Outlook).

Great! But just having a great tool doesn't necessarily
ease the pains of migration. Come to the meeting and
listen to a real live experience in migrating to
Evolution!!

ALSO: If you are interested in participating in
the Linux Fair in February, please drop me <cjcox at acm.org>
a note. We need some volunteers for coolers, ice, drinks,
paper plates/cups/napkins as well as people willing to
bring their computer setups and demonstrate HW and SW
setups. PLEASE let me know!!

Hope you can come to the meeting!
