Note: I'm sending this message out to everyone. Please do not reply
directly to this message but see the information contained below.
I'm looking for volunteers for the terminal room at LISA '07 in Dallas. The
terminal room is something akin to a computer lab with a few public access
machines running *NIX and tables where people can plug their laptops into the
conference LAN and recharge their batteries.
In exchange for working 12 hours (separated into three or four shifts) you
receive complementary registration for the technical sessions and access to
training on a space-available basis.
The work is simple: make sure no one steals anything, help people log in and
out of the machines or connect to the LAN, refill the printer's paper supply,
and generally be helpful.
Conference info is here:

This year's schedule is available here:
http://www.usenix.org/termroom/lisa07sched.pdf
Currently Shift numbers 4 5 and 7 are available. I need one volunteer per shift, so there are three volunteer slots left.
If you are interested in volunteering, please respond with your top three
choices for shifts in order of preference, e.g. shift 4, 5 and 7. I'll assign
you a shift and confirm that you want it. When you confirm, I give you
instructions on how to register for the conference.
If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Tony Del Porto
