This month John Fields will show off some nice command line tools.

Contrary to popular rumor, old dogs love new tricks.
Especially when it comes to making our life easier. Hehe.

I'll be demonstrating programs and configurations I have picked up over 
the years to turbo charge my command line usage.  Look for:

ssh (hosts and common config options)
ssh-copy-id (Note: Not available on a stock Mac!)
mc  (midnight commander)
mtr (My Trace Route)
htop (visual top, with trees, sorting and searching..)
"my" bash aliases (program shortcuts)
"my" bash config (special prompts, colors, etc)
history and the Ctrl+R keys
screen

Great for newbies , beneficial for old dogs.  Bring up your own favorites!
