Hi,
The Dallas/Fort Worth Unix Users Group is having a special topic at its May
14 meeting. The topic covers Proxmox, and the talk is likely to be “The
Proxmox Alternative Hypervisor”.
The *North Texas Linux Users Group* is invited to join the meeting, either
in person or by Zoom. The physical meeting will be at Improving, 5445
Legacy Drive, Suite 100, at 7 PM, with pizza about 6:30. The Zoom
information will be sent out about May 10. For more information, see <

Proxmox can be installed as a level 1 hypervisor, or on top of an existing
Debian Bookworm system.
The speaker is from Croit North America Inc, headquartered in McKinney,
Texas. Croit North America Inc is a division of Croit GmbH in Munich.
Croit is a storage and data solutions company utilizing Proxmox and Ceph.
Proxmox is open source, as is Ceph, an open-source, distributed storage
system. See <www.croit.io> for more information.
If there is sufficient interest, later talks will cover Ceph.
