Lots of root Access
Many default UNIX installations are configured to allow root to log in ONLY from a particular console device, but....
- The first thing I do is remove this ''feature" so I can do remote administration.
- Regardless, since I can simply ''su" to root, I do not have to use sudo or any other frontend to execute commands as root.
- I have my SSH key in place and can hop anywhere I want as the root user.
