PCI should make install and set up easier. Your motherboard should configure
the IRQ on the PCI card without any intervetion. You may be confusing
PCI PnP with ISA Pnp. ISA PnP cards can often require the use of isapnp to
assign proper IRQ and memory addresses. I've never had a problem with linux
not seeing a PCI card. Using the card might be a different story. ;-)
In order to verify that linux is seeing the card, you can just
<cat /proc/pci> and it will return the name of your card and the IRQ.
