Biggest concern I hear from the Other Side is "what about my files?"
A side by side demonstration of equivalent functionality (especially office
apps) and how their file formats and protocols are (usually) handled in linux
would be really helpful.

How about an example of connecting their systems to ours? That's
something that I bet lots of NTLUGgers would want to be able to
demonstrate at their offices.
I routinely print to an Epson inkjet off my wife's Win98 box. She loads
her MS-Office from a 486 Samba server. And we both share a diald
dial-on-demand connection to the Internet.
Maybe we could have a continuing example of inter-species mating
rituals. Come to either meeting, and learn how to connect your favorite
OS to the other camp, to the benefit of both. Same basic theme every
month, but we keep expanding the net and the services offered on it.
Maybe MARS NWE, or an LDAP directory server for Outlook. Come to each
month's meeting, and learn what new, better functionality is offered.
