It's a bit early to actually *recommend* it, but for those that need
Linux Everywhere, there is now a credit card with Tux on it.
The Linux Fund arranged for MBNA to issue credit cards with Tux on it;
<http://linuxfund.org/>.
The organization is a 501(c) charity in the State of Oregon.
(I don't recognize any of the names of Board of Directors members,
unfortunately.)
What is uncertain at this point is precisely what the funds received
as their share of credit card receipts will go to.
They indicate that "Linux developers can begin applying for grants
in January 2000;" that is probably about the earliest that any money
would head in from MBNA.
I bounced them an email with some comments/questions/suggestions;
haven't yet heard anything back, which at this point is not a sign
of anything at all.
