	Hi to all --

The radio program is on WBAP 820 AM; each Sun. night from 7 to 9 PM.
It's 2 hours of computer talk and callins. Schedule:
http://www.wbap.com/programschedule.asp Their page is on the WBAP
site, at: http://www.wbap.com/showdj.asp?DJID=1430

I've been a listener for about a month. Sun. night 10/24, the whole
program was on Linux (I didn't know about it until I turned it on that
night); They gave away several copies of a new book on Linux with RH 6
bundled in it; They took several phone calls on Linux. He had a guest/
friend, I don't recall who he was, on with him, who seemed fairly
knowledgeable about Linux.

Last night (10/31), some caller phoned in with a question about
installing Linux; Their advice was to the effect of, "there's a Linux
user group in the area; check them out". (They said they have a link to
the NTLUG URL on their webpage; I've looked, but it's not on the above
pages). I telephoned their station, gave them the URL for NTLUG, and I
referred to LIP and info on it on the NTLUG webpages (My phone call was
not on the air). They then gave out, on the air, the NTLUG URL a couple
of times (they came up with the pronunciation, "nutlug", not me!), and
they mentioned the install project, referring people to www.ntlug.org
Contra to an earlier post in this thread, I do not recall them making any
statements about "...the general worth of the club..." -- Doug Darnold
